About Brad
Cody Regional Health is thrilled to welcome Brad Overholser, MA, LMFT, to our Behavioral Health team. With over 33 years of experience in the mental health field, Brad brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families in their mental health journey.
Brad has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1992, specializing in trauma therapy, substance use treatment, and marital counseling. His career spans diverse settings, including private practice, community mental health, and inpatient acute psychiatric care.
In addition to his clinical work, Brad dedicated 26 years as a full-time college professor and Chair of Human Development in the College of Psychology and Counseling at Hope International University in Fullerton, California. His academic background includes a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, further showcasing his passion for education and mental health.
Brad and his wife moved to Cody in September 2023 from Fullerton, California, and are excited to call Cody home. When he's not helping others, Brad enjoys wildlife digital photography, mountain biking, and playing music.
