Professional Care in Your Own Home

The Cody Regional Health Home Health Department is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 12 pm on Fridays. You can contact us at 307.578.2413.

Cody Regional Health Home Health provides care for patients in the home setting within a defined service area, including Cody, Powell, Meeteetse, Burlington and Ralston. Home health services are for patients who need attentive care and have trouble leaving home on their own. Home health professionals can help patients maintain a regular schedule, perform daily activities, and take care of dietary needs.

Nurses are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. You or your loved one may receive care from a team of home health professionals who work together to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.

Staff includes the following disciplines:

• Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses
• Occupational therapists
• Physical therapy
• Registered dietitian consults

Advanced Medical Services

Many home healthcare patients have unique care needs. Our diverse team of home health professionals are experienced in a wide array of treatments and specialized medical services.

Home health care services include:

• Wound care
• Intravenous therapy
• Diabetic care
• Acute and chronic disease management
• Post-hospitalization medical management
• Urinary catheter management
• Medication setup and education
• Physical and occupational therapy
• Home safety assessments

Our team monitors a patient’s progress and condition, doing all in their power to improve quality of life and help patients maintain independence. We can also assess whether or not the patients would benefit from more advanced care services as they age. Patient referrals are reviewed and accepted based on the anticipated needs of the prospective patient and current availability. Visit frequency is based on patient needs and provider orders to ensure safety and positive patient outcomes. Home Health services are short-term and intermittent and typically last 6-8 weeks with visits from 1-4 times per week for most patients. Our goal is to give everyone, patients and loved ones, peace of mind knowing that a medical professional is close by to help with any urgent medical needs.
