About Emily
Emily Mundy completed her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Science at Grand Canyon University in 2020 and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2023. Currently, she serves as a Provisional Professional Counselor at Cody Regional Health’s Cedar Mountain Center.
With a strong background in behavioral health, Emily has previously worked in an outpatient setting at Cody Regional Health as both a medical assistant and office coordinator. In these roles, she gained valuable experience working within a multidisciplinary team, delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. Emily is also trained as a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technician, where she worked closely with adults managing chronic major depressive disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
During her practicum and internship at Cedar Mountain Center in 2023, Emily gained extensive experience in treating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and personality disorders. She has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, further enhancing her ability to support individuals on their path to recovery.
