Cody Regional Health is excited to announce significant upgrades to our Long-Term Care Center, providing a fresh and comfortable environment for our residents and their families. Thanks to a generous $123,000 in funding from the Cody Regional Health Foundation, the center now boasts new furniture and blinds in patient rooms, as well as refreshed common areas, enhancing the overall experience for residents.
The renovation included $108,000 for new dining room chairs, TV room seating, television area seating, game area furniture, and more. Additionally, $15,000 was approved to install new, easier-to-maneuver blinds and shades in 25 patient rooms, making it simpler for residents to adjust lighting and comfort levels in their private spaces.
The newly added furniture in common areas is made from healthcare-grade materials, designed to prevent moisture damage and allow for easy cleaning, ensuring both durability and hygiene.
“These upgrades have truly transformed our Long-Term Care Center,” said Doug McMillan, CEO of Cody Regional Health. “We are especially grateful to the Cody Regional Health Foundation for their incredible $123,000 gift, which has made these improvements possible. The new furniture and blinds not only enhance comfort but also improve the functionality and safety of our space.”
These improvements are part of Cody Regional Health's ongoing commitment to creating a home-like atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of care and cleanliness for residents. We invite the community to visit our Long-Term Care Center and see the positive changes firsthand.
